Biltong is the cousin of beef jerky. We season the beef with a traditional spice blend that flavours it and keeps it from spoiling. Then it's air-dried in thick slabs and sliced thin so it stays tender. It's softer than jerky and easy to tear, so the beef does the talking.

What's the difference between biltong and jerky?
Jerky is sliced thin, marinated, then slow dried until it's tough and chewy. Biltong is seasoned with a traditional spice blend that flavours it and keeps it from spoiling, then air-dried in thick slabs and sliced. It's softer, easier to tear and more about the beef itself. Our jerky has about 50g of protein per 100g, our biltong about 40g.
How hot is the Reaper, really?
We rate it seven out of ten. It shouldn't kill you, unless you have no tolerance at all. The rest of the pack runs from savoury to a nice kick. If you'd rather skip the hot ones, send us a note with your order and we'll try to find an appropriate swap.
Does it make a good gift?
It's a cracker for Dad or anyone who's hard to buy for. Eight flavours in one box means you don't have to guess his favourite. Put his address in as the shipping address at checkout and it goes straight to him.
How do the Salt and Vinegar sachets work?

Every size has the same eight flavours. 8 x 30g is a good way to try them all. 8 x 100g gives you a proper go at each one. The bigger packs cost less per 100g, and the price per 100g is shown under each size.
